What we do

Mayo Clinic Military Medicine’s primary goal is to provide cutting-edge medical Education to military and government agency teams utilizing world-class educators. Our team creates and delivers unique, advanced medical education, deploying a vast array of modeling and simulation tools. We also partner with Practice and Research to advance treatment options, education programs and develop innovative products that directly impact military members as well as our patient population.

Mayo Clinic Military Medicine is committed to becoming the most trusted and effective collaborator with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and related agencies by integrating and coordinating real world solutions and products developed by outstanding clinicians, educators, and scientists.

The program works closely with the DoD to find additional opportunities to leverage Mayo Clinic's strengths, such as complex health care and transplantation, to better serve active-duty service members, veterans and retirees. Mayo Clinic's Military Medicine Program is committed to understanding and addressing service members' unique needs on and off the battlefield.
