Program Evaluation Community of Practice

This community aims to advance knowledge, share effective practices, and support the development of evaluation skills across the institution.

We are pleased to announce the relaunch of the Program Evaluation Community of Practice (CoP). After a thoughtful pause to reflect, plan, and reimagine, we are excited to reconvene this group with renewed energy and purpose.

The Program Evaluation CoP will continue to serve as a forum for sharing evaluation practices, discussing challenges, and learning collaboratively. Guided by member feedback, we will explore topics that advance evaluation knowledge and practice across the three shields of our institution.

We invite you to join us for our sessions. All are welcome, regardless of evaluation experience or role.

Tuesday, January 13th at 12pm CST

Logic models are powerful tools for evaluation, but they often seem intimidating or overly technical. This session breaks them down into simple, practical steps. We’ll start by exploring why logic models matter—how they help clarify goals, align teams, and strengthen program strategy. Then, we’ll walk through an easy process for creating one, using real-world examples and interactive activities designed for busy teams. Participants will leave with clear guidance and creative ideas to make logic models useful and approachable in their own work.
