How to Add a Studio Site - Video

Use the Studio Site - Video content type to add a video block to a page.

Instructions

From the T4 Site Structure, navigate to the page you are updating. 

How to use the Studio Site - Video content type

  1. You will need an image resized to 560x315 to overlay each video you include in this content type.
  2. After resizing the images, upload them to the T4 Media Library.
  3. Navigate to the Studio Site page in the T4 Site Structure.
  4. Click "Add content"
  5. Select the "Studio Site - Video" content type.
  6. Add a descriptive name for the content type to be used within T4.
  7. Select "Yellow" or "Teal" for the background color of the content type block.
  8. Optionally, in the "Heading" field add a heading to the content type block.
  9. Add relevant text about the three videos to the content type block using the "Description" field (required).
  10. Click "Select media" to select the image to be used with Video 1 (required).
  11. Add the embed URL for Video 1 in the "Video 1 Embed URL" field (required). Learn more about modifying the embed code.
  12. Repeat steps 10 & 11 for Video 2 and Video 3 (required).
  13. Click "Save changes."

  • Choose videos that are concise and directly support the purpose of the page to keep users interested
  • Use clear, high-quality thumbnails to encourage users to click and engage with the video content
  • Add closed captions or transcripts for those with hearing impairments, and provide descriptive alt text for thumbnails to assist screen readers
  • Test videos before publishing to prevent playback issues and ensure a seamless user experience
